On Wednesday evening we had the traditional raising of the ODA Flags, both the mens and ladies sections. Members gathered around as Rob Waycott and Linda Morris raised the flags at 8pm.

On Friday lunchtime the Ship in Dock closed doors for our traditional toasting the founders event, President Pepperell gave a rousing speech before proposing the toast, unfortunately the weather wasn't too good for an outside photo this year. The toasting was followed by the presentation of a centenary cake, made by Jude of The Ship in Dock Inn, which was divided up amongst those present.
The association in turn, presented the Ship in Dock Inn with an updated coloured version of the aluminium wall plaque which will reside in the bar at the inn.
The association is very grateful for the kindness and support that Peter and Judith and team give so generously to us throughout the year.Later on Friday evening the the mens section gathered in the masonic hall for the re-union dinner.
Unfortunately I (Ed) was so engrossed in conversations I didn't take any photos, but needless to say on behalf of the association thank you to all that attended and to the caterer who did a splendid job.

Saturday evening at 8pm the members gathered around the flags and the vicar led the service for the closing of the regatta and the lowering of the association flags.
